Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sonicker website and AI text-to-speech services. By accessing or using Sonicker, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sonicker. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our services. By using Sonicker, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Account Registration

When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Promptly update your information if it changes
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Service Description

Sonicker provides AI-powered text-to-speech services, including:

Voice Synthesis: Convert text into natural-sounding speech using 17 built-in voices across 10 languages
Voice Cloning: Create custom voices from reference audio samples (Professional plan and above)
Voice Design: Generate voices from text descriptions (Professional plan and above)
Generation History: Access and manage your previously generated audio

Services are provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for consistent uptime and quality, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific processing speeds, or particular audio quality levels.

Subscription Plans and Billing

Plans

Sonicker offers tiered subscription plans (Free, Basic, Professional, Enterprise) with varying features, credit allocations, and character limits. Plan details and pricing are available on our Pricing page.

Credits and Usage

Each text-to-speech generation consumes credits based on your plan
Credits reset monthly on subscription renewal
Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period
Additional credits can be purchased as credit packages

Payment and Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase

AI-Generated Audio Ownership

Your Rights

You retain ownership of text content you submit for synthesis
AI-generated audio created through your account is owned by you
Commercial use of generated audio is permitted on all paid plans
Attribution to Sonicker is appreciated but not required

License to Sonicker

By using our service, you grant Sonicker a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

Process and temporarily store your text inputs and audio files for service delivery
Display your content within your account interface
Create temporary copies necessary for technical processing

This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

Prohibited Content and Uses

You agree not to use Sonicker to:

Voice Impersonation and Deepfakes

Synthesize the voice of real individuals without their explicit written consent
Create misleading audio content that could deceive listeners about the speaker's identity
Generate deepfake audio for fraudulent or deceptive purposes

Harmful Content

Produce threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory audio
Generate content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
Create audio containing personal information of others without their consent

Illegal Activities

Produce content that violates any applicable law or regulation
Generate unsolicited commercial messages, robocalls, or spam
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
Create content designed to mislead, manipulate, or defraud

System Abuse

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
Circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or access controls
Use automated systems to access our services in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
Distribute malware or attempt to compromise our infrastructure

If you use our voice cloning features, you must:

Only upload audio of yourself, or
Obtain explicit written permission from the voice owner, including consent for cloning, intended use cases, and commercial use rights if applicable

We reserve the right to request proof of consent. You assume full legal responsibility for ensuring proper consent and licensing for all voice cloning activities.

Content Moderation

We employ both automated and manual content moderation to enforce these Terms. We reserve the right to:

Review content submitted for synthesis
Remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms
Suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited activities

We strive to enforce our policies consistently and fairly. If you believe content was moderated in error, you may contact us to appeal.

Intellectual Property

The Sonicker platform, including its design, code, AI models, documentation, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of our platform without prior written consent.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to Sonicker if:

You violate these Terms or our content policies
Your account is used for prohibited activities
Required by law or legal process
At our reasonable discretion to protect the safety and integrity of our platform

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Sonicker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services
Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or actions

Disclaimer of Warranties

Sonicker is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation
Accuracy or reliability of any content generated through the service
Specific processing speed or audio quality standards

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sonicker and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Content you submit, generate, or distribute through the service

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by:

Posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
Sending email notification to registered users when appropriate

Your continued use of Sonicker after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
